Located approximately 12 km west of Eneabba. The 35 km track around the lake starts at the Eneabba-Coolimba Road and is accessible by four-wheel drive vehicle only. It will take us through a variety of conditions from knee-deep sand to mud flats and to rocky ridges. The track eventually joins the Beekepers Road and, afterwards, the Brand Highway - approximately 25 km north of Eneabba. Animal and bird life is abundant and, if you are lucky, there is a rumour you can meet brumbies.

We will be going half way round the lake and on to Weelawadgi Cave then after an explore we will head back North to meet up with Beekeepers rd.

The Homestead Originally known as Carnamah house, was one of the first buildings in the district in the late 1860s. Originally home to the Macpherson family, it is now owned by the community and has been fully restored. The homestead’s grounds are lined with old vehicles and machinery.

Keep your eyes peeled for the endangered Carnamah Bell (also known as the Harlequin Bell), a wildflower only found within a 100km radius of the town. This wildflower is a dwarf shrub, featuring green, red or yellow coloured bell-shaped flowers.
