Helena Aurora Range /Mt Jackson Homestead: The alternate route Friday Sept 12 – Monday 15th 2025

General Info:

Starting from Southern Cross spending the first night at Karalee Rock Conservation area and dam. On day 2 we will travel via a little used track stopping at  Weowanie Rock, Duladgin  well, a pioneer grave site, Lake seabrook and onto Koolyanobbing for lunch then heading to Helena Aurora Ranges. This track could be a little scatchy and tracks could be rutted and bumpy. after Camping the night at the Helena Aurora Ranges we make our way to Marda Dam,  Mt Jackson Homestead then onto our nights campsite at one one the local rocks. our final day will be making our way back towards Perth via some interesting sites.

You will need to be self sufficient. as there are no toilets, showers.

Suitable for Tents and Camptrailers. ( we are doing a recky mid August and will know about  small caravan suitability after that. Contact Howard after the 20th August if wanting to take a caravan.)
