Captain Fawcett Track – Australia Day 26th Jan 2026

General Info:

This Trip begins and finishes in the Town of Dwellingup about 97 kms south of Perth. We will take a scenic route from Dwellingup through the Jarrah forests along the Murray River. We will pass Lane Poole, Nanga campsites and along historic timber tramways. If open, we will also do part of the Captain Fawcett Track then returning to Dwellingup for a late lunch either at the Dwellinup Hotel or you can Byo and a look around the forest heritage centre.

If Capatin Fawcett Track is closed, we will explore the Lane Poole Reserve area. Bring Your swimming gear and water activity gear. You will also need a National Parks Pass.
