Easter/Anzac Day at Kennedy Ranges – ‘Mundatharrda’ 18th – 27th April – Open for booking

General Info:
Interested in exploring the remote and rugged the Kennedy Ranges 4WD loop Track, and Mt Augustus over the Period between Good Friday 18th April and ANZAC DAY Back to Perth, Sun 27th April.
The Kennedy Ranges are located 185kms inland from Canarvan, close to Gascoyne Junction. (google www.uppergascoyne.wa.gov.au and look at here tourism link for further details about the ranges and things in the area)
The Range is 90km long with stunning cliffs rising up to 100m above the Valley. The Western side has freshwater springs, and the top is sand dunes. The Loop track is a 270km 4wd high clearance only track.
We are taking our Van but will leave it in Gascoyne Junction and use a tent the Loop Track as After discussions with club members who have done the track and the Shire, it has been recommended the Loop Track section of the trip is only suitable for swags, tents and rooftop tents. Towing is not recommended due to steep entry and exit point of creek crossings, tight hairpin corners and steep rocky tracks with potential for washouts. Temple Gorge Campsite is suitable for Vans and campers.<br /
You will need to be self-sufficient whilst on the Loop Track, there are no toilets or facilities.
Kennedy Ranges is a National Park, you will require a National Parks Pass and NO pets.
Please note that there is no mobile phone coverage out on the Loop track. We carry SAT phone for emergencies.
