Pemberton – volunteering to help Perth Trail Runners Event

General Info:
It will be a fun weekend helping out the runners in the Pemberton Forests.
From Friday camping is on a private block (no cost) on the edge of Pemberton Township but you need to be self-sufficient, no facilities. Caravans and Campers welcome.
Saturday will be supporting the runners at allocated locations in the forests around Pemberton, cheering on runners pointing them in the right direction at road intersections or working at food and drink stations along the way. The longest shift is about 5hrs. Instructions and Materials will be given out by the Perth Trail Runners.
This Trip is being organised by the Perth Trail Runners. They are after volunteers to help them in the running of the 50km Ultra Marathon at the Pemba Trail Fest. Jobs will be located mainly on forestry roads and involve supporting and encouraging runners, manning intersects to direct runners or helping at the refuelling stations. We did it last year, the volunteering was easy and we really enjoyed the day out in the Pemby bush. The trail runners are lovely group of people who really appreciate your help.
On Saturday afternoon we may have some free time to some exploring.
While you are down there take a few extra days camping and exploring the area.
