Social Camping weekend at Mogumber 27th -29th Sept.

General Info:
A fun relaxing social weekend at Mogumber. Our spot in Mogumber is an area on a working farm where our club is allowed to camp under the trees by the creek.  It is basic but has 2 drop toilets and if conditions allow, we will have a lovely big campfire. we have a 4wd track around the area and a clay pan.
You are welcome to come Friday and/or Saturday night/s or just for the day on Saturday. On Saturday we plan to trial some of the old gymkhana events for a future club gymkhana weekend so come along have some fun and a few laughs. There will be the usual mega campfire for some good old campfire cooking and lots of tales to be told.

Friday 27th
We will be heading in Friday afternoon leaving opposite Mogumber Tavern at 3pm if you wish to join us Friday

If you know the way make your own way in after 3pm. Friday
We will set up and get the fire lit.
If you are making your own way in please make sure you leave all gates as you find them.

Saturday 28th
Saturday Morning for those that have not been before, meet opposite the Mogumber Tavern (Hub) at 9:30am to be guided in.   (Paste this into Google maps -31.03933588894358, 116.04462496246208 )
If you know the way just come on in.
Saturday join in the fun and laughs as we trial some Gymkhana style events for a future club event. If you have some ideas please bring them along.

Saturday enjoy an evening around the campfire, get out your camp ovens and practise some campfire cooking.
 Sunday 29th
Leave any time you wish.

Conditions and Difficulty 

Mogumber can be very muddy sometimes, expect the mud this time of year and come prepared.

Camping area - grass
Entry is suitable for small caravans and  camp trailers.
Equipment  

Please bring Mandatory and Essential Equipment as per the clubs’ guidelines

Minimum Recovery point front and rear,

UHF radio not essential for this meeting but preferred if you want to a have a play.  (There is no Phone reliable phone coverage so can be usefully for communication with the group)

It is suitable for small caravans, trailers, and tents. Not suitable for large vans. There are Drop toilets onsite, but you will need to bring in all other supplies.

Dogs are welcome but must remain on leash as it is a working farm.
